As a wedding filmmaker, I’ve had the privilege of capturing love stories in a variety of breathtaking settings. However, there are a few dream destinations that top my bucket list, each offering unique and magical backdrops for the most important day of your life. Here’s a glimpse into my destination wedding bucket list, and a […]
One of the most common questions I’m being asked as a wedding videographer is about my favourite type of weddings to capture. While the specifics may vary, my answer always revolves around one key element: authenticity. For me, there’s something truly magical about couples who choose to celebrate their wedding day exactly how they want […]
Hello my lovely readers! On the occasion of Ffion and Rich’s first wedding anniversary last week, I thought it was time to share more details about this spectacular day and their heartwarming story. Ffion and Rich are an amazing, kind and loving couple whose love for the great outdoors and family connection made their wedding […]
In July 2021 I kicked off quite a busy covid postponed season. This time I headed out to the beautiful coastline near the Llyn peninsula to capture Jinnie and Andrew’s intimate North Wales wedding. This secluded area of the country is very special to them, as they spent many years visiting and even got engaged […]
The story of Robyn and Jimmy’s down-to-earth, love-filled wedding starts with an ordinary adventure along Newborough beach one Sunday in 2018. A day that developed into a magical proposal against the naturally dramatic backdrop of the welsh coastline. It was the perfect moment for this super outdoorsy couple. When I captured their engagement shoot a […]
‘Why we eloped’, by your elopement videographer… My partner Chrissie and I are adventurous souls, passionate about travel and wild about experiences. After meeting in 2016 in the very north of Australia, a long way from home, we navigated a 3000 mile long distance relationship before reuniting in New Zealand and deciding we were inseparable. […]
Intimate weddings had their rise to fame during the pandemic, with restrictions in many parts of the world allowing only limited numbers of guests at the nuptials. In my wedding videography work I categorise anything under 50 guests as an intimate wedding, and for the purposes of this blog an elopement falls under this bracket […]
If you are looking for inspiration for eloping to Scotland, you’ll love the story behind this Scotland elopement I filmed at the end of last year. It was one of sadly only a few special days I was able to capture in 2020 due to the pandemic. So being able to tell a love story […]
This past year has been incredibly challenging for couples planning a big wedding, and so eloping has become a more popular option for many. During this time, big weddings can be complicated to organise, and due to the circumstances, many couples now realise that all they want is to actually get married and to rather […]
On the 23rd of March this year the government announced: “I urge you at this moment of national emergency to stay at home, protect our NHS and save lives.” This was the announcement of the first national lockdown and that made many of us realise that this year was not going to be a normal […]
"I genuinely struggle describing how I felt about the video as I was and continue to be speechless. The love and detail that Kim has put into it is frankly worth more than you could comprehend. It is a wonderful video, capturing some really lovely moments of our day, and tells our story perfectly. Everybody who we’ve shared the video with have said it’s BY FAR the best wedding video they’ve ever watched. Kim was able to use both video and audio to create the most beautiful interpretation of our day. With each watch, you notice something new, and she is so clever in the placement of shots over the audio. I wish I could be better with my words, but I am simply speechless. She is incredible.."
